Booked two nights as the beginning of our Scottish Holiday and were not disappointed in any way. Our room was well furnished and overlooked the loch, as do most of the rooms. We were greeted in the lounge when arriving for dinner with a complimentary glass of sherry each evening (a lovely touch) and the food was of a very high standard, both dinner and breakfast. We especially appreciated the extremely good value of their excellent wine list. The staff were very helpful in arranging a taxi for our theatre visit, also providing early 'Theatre Dinners' as required, fully supporting the lovely Pitlochry Festival Theatre, which is well worth a visit! We agree with previous reviews that the average age of guests is rather high - at 60+ we felt positively youthful - but don't be put off by this, the Green Park is very welcoming. We will definitely return!

Used the Green Park as a stop-off point on my way to Thurso and back. The staff were always friendly and willing to help and there was no problem when I called from Thurso to see if I could arrive a night early on the return leg. Though I had to change rooms the next day this was done with a minimum of fuss whilst I was out enjoying the area.

Did I mention the food? Plenty of it and to the highest standard - especially the guinea fowl and partridge.

I was the youngest guest by some thirty years which was no bad thing as it meant I wasn't kept awake by late night parties.

We stayed at Greenpark Hotel on 7th October 2006 for 70th Birthday celebration. The hotel well exceeded our expectations. Although aimed at an older market we had the most enjoyable experience.

From start to finish the staff could not have been more helpful - always willing to accommodate our requests. All staff friendly and ensured we were having an enjoyable experience at all times.

Rooms of very high standard or cleanliness/facilities, with stunning views over Loch Faskally. Lounge area and facilities superb for a most relaxing break. Restaurant superb.

Everyone in our party (ages 11 - 74) thoroughly enjoyed experience.

Will definitely return and very confident to recommend to others.

Had this hotel recommended to us and were not in the slightest disappointed. This is a family run hotel and this shows from the oustanding service and quality. From the moment we arrived and were treated to complimentary coffee in the lounge to the complimentary glass of sherry or fruit jiuce in the lounge later whilst choosing from the memu for dinner the feeling was that you were a private guest being cossetted.

The food was quite exceptional with four courses plus coffee for dinner with the servings being flexible depending on your appetite. All the ingredients were obviously locally sourced and the cooking deft and sympathetic. Forget the chain hotels and their mass produced offerings this is a hotel as it should be.

The setting is superb with a picture postcard outlook from almost all the rooms.

The fact that most of the clientele fall into the older category speaks volumes as these are the discerning travellers and in many cases the guests had stayed many times before.

To sum up ... if you plan to stay in a hotel in Scotland which is completely as you would wish it then this is it!!!
