The new building situated to the side and separate to the main building are modern and beautifully furnished with balcony area. I loved my room the minute I stepping into it and didn't want to leave! The staff were so friendly and there was no end to the breakfast we enjoyed, nothing was too much. Excellent value for money and literally a stones through from the eateries and bars and shops of Pitlochry. I love the area and don't think i'll stay anywhere else now, would go back tomorrow!
After staying in a couple of disappointing hotels in Pitlochry last year, I was recommended to book here. We stayed only one night but our courtyard room was very large and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. The breakfast was very good with an unusually wide choice of dishes. Our hostess was attentive and helpful. By Pitlochry standards the room cost is modest. There is also free access to a PC which meant I could keep up with my emails. We'll be booking again next year but I think we'll have to be quick off the mark!
Went to Pitlochery on the spur of the moment and found this place by chance. Wow fantastic. The apartments were new and very well furnished. The bathroom and 'bath' were fab. Breakfast was unbeatable and the hostess Jane was great. If we go there again, that's where we are staying (if it's not full!).
We found Craigmhor lodge by chance and we were delighted to have stumbled on such a good B&B. We booked in for one night and ended up staying 4 nights.
The location was central to the things we wanted to see and do so we decided to unpack our bags and take day trips rather than have to find a new B&B every night. This was a great decision and we had a fantastic 4 days. We eventually had to leave but only because we a flight booked or we would have probably stayed on for a few more days.
Unike many B&B's that have a set breakfast every day, Craigmhor had the standard Scottish breakfast on offer but also throw in 3 "specials" every morning to tempt you. My favorite was the Potato Scones, Bacon and Maple Syrup!
The rooms were modern, clean, quiet, large and comfortable and suited us perfectly.
If you are looking for a B&B that is going to exceed your expectations then this is the place to stay.
Jane and Callum were wonderful hosts and I am sure they will look afer you as well as they did for us.
