“Good Price, Good Location, Good Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

Very large, clean, well decorated, quiet room. This is one of the better Travelodges that I have stayed in. No hesitation in recommending this one. Ideally placed for travel in all directions. Plenty of parking and a good restaurant on the door step. Just one moan and that was that the breakfast bags were not delivered to the rooms.

Room Tip: We had three rooms and they were all excellent. Two on one side of the hotel and one on the other. A...

Stayed at this Travelodge for the third time last week and was again delighted with my stay.
Clean large room with effective heating, "hotel" sheets and lashings of hot water in a pleasant area with a handy wee restaurant next door.
Three nights cost £47 in total.
Rooms do need refurbished but they are still acceptable.
If you ever need a hotel in Perth, try to get a saver rate on this hotel and you will not be disappointed.

Set in an old building, it had much more character than an average Travelodge. It was ideally located, with a lovely eaterie just outside. As usual for a Travelodge, the room had no phone or hairdryer. Fortunately we were prepared for this and brought our own. Unlike our last Travelodge experience, this one was relatively peaceful. Unfortunately though, I still had difficulty sleeping as the mattress was very thin and lumpy. This is very unfortunate, I'd have given it at least 4 stars otherwise. Strangely, my friend had a crunchy plastic sheet on her mattress, but at least this could be taken off. I would consider staying here again, and just hope for a different bed. Or flip it.

We had an overnight stop here on the way to the North of Scotland, we think travelodge are very good value and fine for short stays though you do expect to sacrifice a bit in terms of aesthetics and comfort. The decor in the lodge was a surprise, a bit more upmarket, with polished wood fittings and darker red patterned carpet. The heating was fantastic given that we stayed when the temperature at night was close to freezing. The staff were very friendly. We ate in the pub just next door and that was also good - log fire and well presented and cooked food. If you choose this lodge look up the directions because we had a bit of difficulty finding it.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the back are probably quieter than facing the road

My family of four stopped over for the night, and I wasn't expecting much given the cheap room rate but was very pleasantly surprised. Clean, fresh room, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Staff very helpful - when I needed extra pillows and bedding for the pull out bed this was dealt with immediately. Location was also perfect - just off the main road (though no traffic noise at night), and only a few minutes drive into Perth city centre. Highly recommend walking over to Dobbies next door for breakfast, the four of us ate for a tenner! Would definitely book up again next time we are in the area.
