What a fantasic guest house with fantastic owners that cannot do enough for you! Everything from the room to the brekfast was faultless!

The room had everything; good size en suite, comfortable bed with electric blanket, plenty of hanging and drawer space, tea and coffee facilities and my favourite complimentary cans of pop and biscuits.

The brekfast was perfect so much variety from cereal and toast to fruit salad and croissants, for me it was the full english which may I add was perfectly cooked, I even got the choice of either boiled fried scrambled or poached locally layed eggs of which I had a mixture!

The service was brilliant, the owners John and Janice couldn't do enough for me and in such an effortless way, they were friendly, kind and seemed to really care that my stay here would be a good one!

After my stay here I know that I will most definately be visiting again!

We stayed at this Guest House for three nights at the end of October 2012.

Rooms- The Guest House has 6 rooms and we stayed in room no6, an ample double with ensuite. The room was beautifully decorated with every home comfort you could ask for. Plenty of room for storing clothes either in drawers or on hangers, TV/DVD, comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities and a fridge with complementary soft drinks and fresh milk.
Thought has been given to every detail of the rooms with plug sockets near the mirrors, electric blanket for the cold winter nights and a black out blind in order that the sun doesn't wake you up!

The rooms are cleaned daily to an immaculate standard and have a selection of literature on the Scottish surroundings and places to visit. The ensuite hosts a shower with complementary shower gel and other bathroom comforts that are replenished each day.

Breakfast- amazing! A full choice of anything you could possibly want at breakfast time from cereals, fresh fruit, continental, porridge to full blown cooked breakfast with every choice of perfectly cooked eggs imaginable.

The Guest House is in a perfect location for exploring Perth and surrounding areas and hosts a "snug" room for guests to have a look at maps and information on places of interest. The breakfast room is light and airy and there is ample parking on the drive for guests.

Now the real beauty of this Guest House are the owners, Janice and John, who go out of their way to ensure that you feel at home. Hospitality at Pitcullen Guest House is second to none, from the guided tour from John on arrival to Janice ensuring your every breakfast need is met. I haven't come across two people before who would bend over backwards to make sure your stay was first class. John was more than helpful on giving fantastic information on local amenities and history and providing maps to point of interest.

We are already planning our next visit to Pitcullen Guest House and cannot recommend it high enough to others looking for somewhere to stay.

Thank you to Janice and John for a fantastic break in beautiful Perth.

We stayed two nights here and felt very welcome indeed. John and Jan are great and really make this guest house feel homely. If you are after any information on the area then John is your man. Although the room was small it was really, really nicely done with all those small things that make the big difference. The walk into Perth centre takes 10-15 mins and if you have a good meal then you will probably need the stole back….we did after a great meal at The North Point Restaurant, highly recommended and also a John tip! We hope to go back again.

We stayed here as part of a whirlwind trip around the highlands to trace out some family history. Our host and hostess, John & Jan could not do enough to help us - they were fantastic, friendly and very accommodating. The room we stayed in and the guest house as a whole was comfortable, well appointed and pristine. They had great recommendations on local restaurants no matter what type of fare you're after. Would stay again here in a heartbeat!

We spent two nights in Perth, which is short to medium driving distance to most things to see and visit north of Edinburgh and south of the Highlands.
We reserved late, so the only room available was not one of the best, but it had everything you need for a nice stay (towels, hairdyer, complimentary mineral water and soft drinks in the mini-fridge). The beds were confortable. Breakfast excellent. The couple who runs the the B/B were fantastic, especially John, who gave us all kinds of advices for the area, including a very good restaurant downtown Perth. Pitcullen is a place where we would surely return when back in Scotland.
Per gli amici Italiani nel caso la traduzione automatica non sia all'altezza, confermo che è un B/B molto gradevole, con ottima e abbondante colazione e padroni di casa simpatici e disponibili. Da consigliare

Room Tip: Reserve in advance, some rooms are larger than others.

Janice and John are a wonderful team! They welcome you right from the moment you step into their lair. They are quite attentive to your requests and they are highly recommended for tips regarding llocal sight seeing and other relavent information. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable and their breakfast menu is quite adequate. It feels that they want to connect with their guest from the bottom of their hearts. A must recommended place for people planning to spend sometime in perthshire!

The Pitcullen Guest House is very comfortable, friendly, and well located. The owners are terrific and work very hard to make sure you have what you need. Jan and John are knowledgeable about the entire area and will help you find all the great sites. It is also a good location for some very famous golf courses. My favorite part was visiting with the other guests from varying parts of the world.
