“Fantastic for the whole family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013 via mobile

Visited for the first time on Sunday as we heard about pirate day. The kids had a wonderful day & loved finding all the different play areas.

I can't believe that we live so close & I'd never heard about this place before. We've been back & became members today & enjoyed the woodland artwork with the ranger.

We're looking forward to lots of wonderful visits, picnics & bbq's over the summer.

If you've never been, please visit, you won't regret it

“great day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Lovely area for a walk on a sunny spring day. Loads of space for kids to run around and great play area.
loads of events on for children over the next few months. cowboys and Indians, teddy bear picnics etc. They also have walks for adults and families, gardening tips and a Shakespeare play-in the park A midsummer night's dream later in the year
Plenty variety for all ages.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Took my 6 and 4 year old here on a busy bank holiday Monday. I hadn't been since I was in school! Kids had an absolute ball. Loved the pirate ship and fort and there's a new park to explore at every turn. Plenty of space to run and play and loads of benches for lunches. My only negative comments would be the parking. Is there an overflow car park? Just had to abandon the car. Had a great day out!

“Fantastic:)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2012

I took my 7 year old Daughter and her friend here for the "teddy bear picnic" on Sunday......Fantastically kids friendly entertainment with an outdoor play area, with avariety of attractions, built from timber, such as a fort, double decker bus with slide and swings etc - all spread out which encourages the kids to walk. the picnic areas are great and designed for both sandwich style or with areas for you to bring a "Barbie". The event was great with a puppet show, sack race, magic show for the kids. The grounds are beautiful and full of wildlife. the park rangers were very helpful and at £10 for the 3 of us great value day out - both slept soundly that night!
