I've only recently moved to this area, but was lucky enough to find a café that is really good value. The food is simple, but cooked well. Their breakfasts are very comprehensive though my most regular purchase is the "Soup & Sandwich" at lunchtime. At £2.95 (at the time of this report). The soups are all homemade and extremely wholesome. No limitations on the filling for the sandwich element, unlike some cafes that rule out such as prawn in the bargain meals. Over the last couple of weeks I've had a few of their "Festive Lunches" that gave you the Full Monty, 2 course Christmas lunch, for £6.95; excellent. Clean premises (as are the toilets) with newspapers supplied. Pity it doesn't stay open later (shuts mid-afternoon) as choices for venues for tea and a bun, late afternoon in Nairn, are somewhat limited.
