“Really good B+B in Nairn”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

Stayed at Invernairne as part of a golf trip to Scotland. The whole hotel is comfortable, spacious and well furnished. The host, Kay is friendly and helpful and the breakfast was ideal for hungry golfers! The views from the rooms out over the Moray Firth are beautiful as are the gardens around the house. The bedrooms we stayed in were family rooms and were very roomy with well equipped bathrooms. And the hotel was a short walk to the beach with its own private access to the coastal path. I'd stay at Invernairne again anytime

We were lucky enough to stay here for almost 4 weeks. Kay and Doug are fantastic hosts and went above and beyond for us. The rooms are great, bathrooms are very nice. Modern. If you going to be in the Moray area for any reason I definitely recommend here. Nairne may seem a little out of the way but out of 3 hotels we stayed at this trip, it was the furthest drive for each day, but I would do it again in a heart beat! Oh and the breakfast sausages are amazing!

Thanks Kay and Doug! If I find myself back in Scotland Ill visit again.

This lovely small hotel is right on the Moray Firth. The hosts could not be any nicer and we great about providing restaurant tips and information about the area. The rooms are spacious and lovely, with high ceilings and a comfy bed plus nice seating area. Everything is provided, and all is grace and charm. Good fresh and hot breakfasts are served by the kind hosts. We would stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view. We had a corner room, which was light and large, but without a sea view

Great place to stay, great view, and great hosts! I highly recommend the hotel. It is in a quiet area with access to the beach and an easy walk to the town centre. If you play there are two courses nearby.

A guest house and not full hotel, the bedrooms are a bit dated with the really old style en-suites but the keys here are the beds, the food and the service. the beds are new, firm and give a great nights sleep, the breakfast was fresh and hot, really good, and the service is friendly and helpful from the minute you arrive. cant fault it for a £75 double. Much better value than the golf view that's for sure.

Spent 2 nights here last month and from start to finish it was an excellent stay. On arrival we were greeting by the very friendly host, who showed us our room and also gave us a printed sheet stating local restaurants and pubs, very useful. Breakfast was excellent and the view from the dinning room was beautiful. All in all the Invernairn is a comfortable guest house, with large rooms, in an ideal position.

What a wonderful setting! Our room was absolutely lovely and the view breathtaking. We loved being able to walk from our hotel to the sea walk. Our hosts were terrific and we had a fabulous breakfast. One of our favorite B & Bs in all of Scotland!
