My partner treated me to three nights stay at Loch Ness Lodge at the end of November - I was six months pregnant and really looking forward to a bit of luxury. We had a truly lovely stay at the lodge and I was not at all disappointed – everything was perfect. We were made to feel very welcome by Scott and Iona and all the staff, who were friendly and attentive to everyone’s needs without being at all intrusive. We stayed in the lovely Affric room which was perfect with its chairs overlooking the loch, a huge comfy bed and its large Jacuzzi bath. Breakfast was excellent. We had the five course dinner all three evenings. My pregnancy diet was very well catered for and the food was of very high quality and varied all three nights. Canapés beforehand and coffee afterwards were served in the drawing room where you can really relax or talk to other guests. Taking afternoon tea and home made cake in the snug while the rain is beating down outside highly recommended.
Hoping I’ll be treated to another stay in the future….
