If you're looking for a hotel that will treat you as an individual, catering for your every comfort and going the extra mile to make sure you feel special enough to imagine you are the only customer that matters, then this is the place for you. A small independent family run hotel with stunning loch views and fantastic food. Make sure you are hungry as the portions are very generous. Parts of the hotel are still a work in progress (ongoing renovations seasonally) however the large yet still intimate lounge and dining room cater for your comfort in every way, whilst being arranged to give you plenty of privacy if you require that "romantic moment".
A little gem in the highlands, and one the family can be proud of.

a group of 6 of us stayed at tingle creek hotel as part of a biking tour of Scotland.
after a long 450 mile ride from home I arrived cold and aching however it was well worth the trip. The warm, friendly welcome we recieved was a perfect end to the ride.
The rooms were all clean and nicely furnished.
Although we all opted to add all of our meals and drinks onto the room bills, after being there for less than an hour the staff had memorised our room numbers and names and we didn't need to be asked twice. This may seem like a minor point, but it was a lovely personal touch that served to make us feel even more welcome.
One of our party was vegetarian and although the vegetarian choice on the normal menu was not very large, the staff managed to cater for any special requests. It was a case of 'if you want it, we'll do our best to cook it for you'.
The lounge was very comfortable with nice squishy sofas and a real fire to sit in front of after a hard day's riding.
The restaurant was very nicely furnished with great views out over towards the islands and gave us a beautiful sunset each evening while enjoying our meal.
The food was always well cooked with good portion size and definitely good value for money. The full scottish breakfast option was just right to set us up for the day.
On the thursday night we took part in their weekly quiz in the galleon bar which was a good little bit of fun for the last night. We even beat some of the locals.
we hadn't kept track of what we'd had to eat or drink and the final surprise was at the end of the stay when the bill was very reasonable for the level of service we enjoyed.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone, especially bikers, and our group are already discussing a return trip sometime next year.

combining the views, the location and the friendly service, I cannot think of anything which would have made our stay more enjoyable (well, apart from a little less rain, but you can't have everything).

We visited the Tingle Creek for the first time in February last year (2007) and returned again in June and September.
On each occasion we were welcomed like old friends by the owners of this family run hotel.
The accommodation, food and location made for a truly memorable stay.
The hotel is warm and cosy and the ever attentive staff catered for our every need.
The hotel’s in a fabulous spot and we found it an ideal base for walking, climbing, taking sea trips and exploring the surrounding islands.
We will be returning again soon.

Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Found staff friendly and very helpful. High standards of housekeeping evident. Enjoyed using newly refurbished en suite. An excellent getaway from it all for a city dweller like myself. Beautifil scenery in these parts. Would recomend.
