“faultless!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2012

Well having arrived here weary and footsore after walking the west highland way, this inn provided us with exactly what we needed-hot bath ,wonderfully comfortable bed with extra pillows if needed and excellent food. The staff all seemed to enjoy their work and were both polite and helpful. Well done- a refreshingly good experience !

With apologies to Lenny Henry -Nothings Premium except the price!

Stayed here for a short holiday and to visit the Islands.

Everything about this hotel (the first Premier Inn we've stayed at , and the last!) seems to be designed to provide as little as possible for as much as possible. I have already filled in the guest questionaire on line so this review should not come as a surprise to them.

The room was large, but there was NO drawer storage at all and the 'wardrobe' had no door. there were 3 or 4 open shelves to stack all the clothing and underwearthat did'nt hang up.

The heating was adequate when on but you had to reset it every time you wanted heat.

The 'twin' room had a king sized bed and a small single - not what I call a twin room. The beds were not particularly comfortable.

The hotel was quiet but we could hear people walking about in the room above.

The 'hospitality' tray held the absolute minimum. There were no toiletries in the bathroom and no heating or heated towel rail and no toilet brush.

Lighting was poor throughout.

Meals were to be taken at the 'Brewer's Fayre' pub next door where a full english breakefast was over £8.

Overall this was more like a hostel than a hotel. The price we paid was per night and the dearest night was over£100 - certainly far more than the accomodation was worth.

The staff we met were pleasant.

Not a happy experience.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at our hotel.

It really matters to us that our guests enjoy every aspect of their stay. Your feedback is very much appreciated as it enables us to improve standards as we endeavour to meet all of our customers needs.

Our pricing policy works in the same way as many airlines where prices are driven by market conditions at the time. Although prices may increase at times of demand, they may also reduce on nights which are less busy. We do have a Team who closely monitor all hotels to ensure they are competitively priced as we always try and give you the best value for money.

Thanks for taking the time to review our hotel.

Stayed here on completion of the west highland way walk. Having done the walk many times and previously stayed at various b/b in ft. William I can honestly say this leaves them all for dead especially if booked at the saver rate with a 3 course dinner and an excellent buffet breakfast.

Same as all the other premier inn, functional, clean etc
New block of 40 extra rooms being erected now, building site active throughout the day.Breakfast is served out of the main sleeping block, usual buffet style, nothing to shout about really.

Spent the weekend here, very pleasant location. All in all a very good time was had by all. If you do stay here make sure you try the restaurant out.

Like all Premier Inns, this location is clean, comfortable, well located and affordable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy each day when we returned from a long day out. The hotel is located within walking distance of the train/bus station, the main part of down town, and grocery stores. The restaurant on the premises was good as well. Great prices, good food, friendly and fun staff. The hotel breakfast is served in the adjoining restaurant and is a good selection, exactly like all Premier Inn establishments.

Having just stayed at the fantastic new Premier Inn in Inverness it was probably always going to be the case that we'd be dissapointed in Fort William and we were, at least a little.

The location is good and the rooms were clean and functional but the staff in FW could learn a lot from those in Inverness in how to make you welcome. Food at the Brewers Fayre (the Curry Buffet) filled us up but was of School Canteen standard.

We had to use the Good Night Sleep guarantee for the second of our nights due to a noisy water heating system waking us up at 4 am and were dissapointed that the first reaction of the receptionist to their "no quibble" guarantee was to start by trying to wriggle out of it!

The rooms were also pricey compared to Inverness, at FW we paid £142 for 2 nights, at Inverness we only paid £52 for two nights, that's the price you pay for being next to Ben Nevis.

Great value internet though, don't bother with the free (and pointless) 30 minutes, just pay £3 and you get quality internet for 24 hours.
