As we paid roughly the same price as a basic B&B for a couple of nights here, we were not expecting much, but we were to be very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very nice, rooms clean and tidy, excellent breakfast, friendly and efficient staff, a nice cosy bar and our room had great views over Loch Linnhe to the hills beyond.
We were bicycle touring, but there was no problem storing our bikes in a secure, sheltered location where we had 24/7 access to them. The 'sheltered' part was particularly useful as it was battering down with rain, but we could do maintenance on the bikes in a dry area at the back of the hotel and access them early in the morning without problem.
The only slight problem was our upstairs neighbour who seemed to be break dancing at 2am, and although that's not the hotel's fault, the walls did seem a bit thin. In saying that, I am a very light sleeper, so... not really a problem.
