“A great stop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

We had a wonderful nights sleep. Questions about some of the sites around the country were answered and they really took interest. Of course the breakfast was also excellent! A great place to stay. Thanks for all of your help and the wonderful lodging.

We've stayed here 2/3 times now, and will almost certainly be back again next year. Lovely hosts, comfy beds and a cracking breakfast to start the day - friendly and faultless.

Thanks again folks, looking forward to next year already.

We stayed at the Glenafton for several days in September. It was a most enjoyable experience. The B&B is central to the Fort William area and is the ideal spot for economical yet near perfect lodgings. The hosts made every effort to make our stay a joy. Liz is a marvellous chef and breakfast every morning was superb. If I were a quibbler, I would say the rooms are a tad small but then again I am a tad large. I would recommend this B&B with the highest accolades possible.

Room Tip: all rooms are bright and cozy.

Spent 3 nights here in the double room. Wonderful view of mountains from our window (pity cloud was down most of the time!) Comfy bed, cosy room, terrific shower in en-suite- all spotlessly clean! Breakfast in conservatory was really good & set us up for the day's walking, with fresh baked bread & the works! Liz is a great host, welcoming & helpful, with local knowledge. Would we go back? You bet!

We had an amazing time at Glenafton B&B- a beautiful, friendly, peaceful place with stunning views. Our hosts Liz and Martin (and their lovely cat Jules) were super friendly and helpful with suggestions, kind and looked after us very well- including an amazing breakfast each morning in the beautiful conservatory looking out over spectacular views of the mountains and the wonderful garden. Very welcoming and friendly experience and the room (double ensuite) was just perfect - most comfortable bed ever and an amazing shower! - plus loved the view from the window! (Ben Nevis) All in all really enjoyed our stay and cant wait to visit again.

The local area is a beautiful place for walking and taking in the wonderful breathtaking views. People are very friendly and there's lots of nice pubs too! Lots to see and do - could easily spend longer next time!

We went to Fort Williams for a long weekend and we stayed in Glenafton B&B. It was really really good. Liz and Martin are extremely nice, we had very nice chat and they gave us very interesting suggestion for climbing and walking path. Moreover the food was excellent!
I strongly recommend this B&B!
