As a Scot living abroad I found this hotel to be wonderfully atmospheric and reminiscent of an old Scottish shooting lodge. The living room had wonderful overstuffed sofas (plumped up by the staff at frequent intervals) and the sun room dining area, although unusually hot due to the sun streaming in the windows, had views second to none. Mountains reaching to the loch, dining as the sun went down was an experience. I loved the starched white linen tablecloths, silver candelabra and the beautiful pieces of furniture. Food could not be faulted, nor the service. Our room was on the small side, but very comfortable and tastefully decorated. No phones and TV was limited, but you don't go to the Highlands for either (using cell phones is a challenge!). I would go back to Corriegour Lodge Hotel in a heartbeat.
