“Fantastic Alround”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2012

Stayed at Braeside House for one night, could have easily made it the rest of the week. Fantastic hosts, fantastic service, unbelievable views from the breakfast room, spotlessly clean, FELT LIKE HOME! I wouldn't hesitate to return next time i am in the area.

We visited Braeside House 3 weeks ago and had a wonderful time. It was lovely and comfortable, boasting spectacular views. Most importantly, the hosting by Aileen and Paul was fantastic. They went out of their way to ensure we got the most out of our trip, recommending popular walks and creating a friendly atmosphere. They offered to pick us up from the station, drove us to Glencoe and even to the next B&B we had booked for the following night! We would highly recommend it and wish we could have stayed another night. Thanks again for everything, Charlie and Grace.

Five of us arrived on bicycles. We were greeted very warmly by Paul who instantly took care of our bikes. My husband and I had the double room which has a great view across Loch Linnhe. The twin at the back was quite small, but everything was spotlessly clean. Paul and Aileen are the warmest of hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them-they even lent me a very large umbrella to go into town with! We would recommend this B and B to anyone.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and wished it could have been longer. Paul & Aileen were the perfect hosts and seemed prepeared to go the extra mile for their guests (a superb "Eggs Benedict" for breakfast on our last morning) You will be treated almost as one of the family
The view from the breakfast room is amazing even if it is raining. The rooms are really well decorated and comfortable
Only 5 minutes walk into town

Room Tip: If you can book the front room do so for the view

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights whilst touring Scotland. Upon arrival we were given a very warm welcome by one of our hosts Paul, who was very friendly and helpful. Our room was situated at the rear of the property, which was clean, nicely furnished and decorated as well as being a reasonably good size with all the neccessary facilities. There is a great view from the conservatory, whilst having breakfast, which was definately first class in every way. The selection available, the freshness and taste of it are very good, can't praise it highly enough! It's only a 5-10 minute walk into the town, so it's perfectly located for all you need or want to do. Our hosts Paul and Aileen were first class hosts, who were very helpful and approachable in every way as well being very good-humoured which made for a good bit of banter. Speaking as a couple who have stayed in Fort William several times over the years, this has been the best choice of B&B so far and cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you very much Paul and Aileen

Paul and Aileen were very welcoming and gave us good advice on where to eat locally as we fancied curry. It is lovely to stay in a quiet part of Fort William where you can easily walk into town in the evening. This was a one night stop over and it proved to be a very good choice. Clean and comfy rooms with everything you need. Breakfast in the conservatory is a nice start to the day and there was plenty of choice.

Lovely B&B, twin a little bit small but ok, breakfast very good - especially the pancakes! :-) Try it! Aileen and Paul - it was a nice time.
