Don't miss this great guest house if you are staying in Inverness.
Our room overlooking the River Ness was immaculate! Pristine clean,beautiful modern decor, fresh flowers, small fridge with REAL milk for the coffee! and a spotless bathroom. My partner was particularly impressed with the luxury Strathpeffer soaps.
Our hosts were excellent. In fact when my partner mentioned at breakfast that she was feeling slightly unwell,our host insisted our room was serviced immediately for us, so that she could rest after breakfast.
Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and beautifully cooked.
Be assured this is not your average B&B and is very good at the price- £70 for our room.
Centrally situated, yet on a quiet road on the bank of the river.
We hope to stay here again next time in Inverness.

Happened upon this B&B through Trip Advisor and it was well worth a visit.

Sits amongst a number of B&Bs along Ness Bank. Clean, freshly decorated, ensuite rooms with all mod cons (the Strathpeffer Spa soap is fab!). Cast iron bed which squeaked everytime I moved, but it was a nice visual touch.

Breakfast was delicious.

Comfortable guests' lounge is also available for relaxing and watching the views across the river.

Would definitely recommend The Alexander as a worthwhile alternative to the mostly so-so and expensive hotel options in Inverness.

The establishment was very clean and inviting, our hosts absolutly fab, the food gorgeous, everything about the Alexander was excellent if we ever return to Inverness The Alexander will be the first point of call for our accomodation.

A fabulous riverside location in Inverness, with friendly owners and a great breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean, as was the shower room, and the breakfast was good and hearty enough to set you up for the day. Parking is no problem either. Highly recommended.
