My fiance and i stayed at the Dionard for 3 nights during September and loved it! First off, our room was perfect. It was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. Secondly, breakfast was delicious. Definitely the best breakfast we ate anywhere during our two week trip. Last, but certainly not least, our hosts John & Val were wonderful! They were so helpful and were able to reserve us a riverside table at a great restaurant, The Mustard Seed, for a romantic dinner on our last night in Inverness. We would absolutely love to stay here again!

We stayed at Dionard for 2 nights in November 2007.
We stayed in the Superior Double (Room 4) and it really was gorgeous, infact the whole house and grounds are gorgeous!!
The room was very spacious with the most comfortable bed ever and lovely fresh linen. The rooms have freeview which is great, a fridge with complimentary water, tea/coffee making facilities and scottish biscuits, they also provide magazines.
The bathroom was again spacious and beautifully decorated, they provide fluffy towels, shower gel and other bits and bobs.
Everything in the house is tastefully done and the whole place is absolutely spotless, which is the most important thing for me.
The breakfast was lovely and really sets you up for the day, they give generous portions and you just tell John the night before what you want for breakfast and at what time you want it and it's done!!
Val booked us a table at the Mustard Seed Restaurant for one of the evenings, and the food there was great.
John and Val are the most lovely, genuine and welcoming people you will ever stay with and they really make you feel like your at home.
Thank you so much to both of them and if we are in Inverness again, we will certainly stay with them.

My husband and I and a friend stayed at this wonderful B & B for 5 nights and it was delightful. Val and John are so warm and fun and they made us feel like family. Our rooms were super clean, large but also cozy, and very inviting. Breakfast was so delicious and yummy with lots of frest fruit . Their rating is 4 Stars, but we gave them our 5 Star rating. I cannot think of one thing that was negative. Their location was perfect for any thing we wanted to do and we walked an easy 5 minutes to Inverness town center. There is a wonderful church just across the street from Dionard which we attended on Sunday. Inverness is a MUST stop in Scotland and Dionard is a MUST stay when there.

This is a very friendly place to stay. John and Val make visitors very welcome from the moment you walk in their door until the day you leave. Rooms are very clean and bright. Towels changed every day.

Just far enough out of town to give you quite nights but near enough to take a gentle walk. There is a great restaurant even nearer (2 mins) that we visited three times and had excellent meals each time.

Be prepared, the breakfasts are big, beautifully cooked and best of all, arrive hot.

We are planning to stay again next year, if we can get in as it is very popular and I know people go back again and again.
