We have visited the leisure centre many times with the family and generally we have a good time however there is certainly room for improvement, especially when compared to other centres around the UK. Maybe it's just because this is the Highlands and there's not much competition for entertainment of this type, however in my opinion (and that of other people I know in the area) Inverness Leisure could do with a major revamp.
Signs around the wave pool were dated with some having letters missing, the plastic greenery around the pool has certainly seen better days with occasional leaves seen floating in the water, the plastic dividers into the outdoor pool are white with age and generally the whole place looks a bit 'tired' and very 1980's. The staff were great, however I couldn't understand any of the announcements over the tannoy. There was a queue for the showers after our swim, obviously not enough for the amount of people present on a busy weekend. Several of the vending machines didn't work and the 'rapids' were only on occasionally. Quite a few of the foam 'rings' in the rapids were mouldy and the tiles around the pool on the water line were badly etched in places.
Don't get me wrong - it's not all bad - just needs bringing up to today's standards.

We are currently in the process of assessing the needs of the building and will be looking to embark on some refurbishments in the area to bring the facilities much more up-to-date. We are hoping that these will take place over the next couple of years. We will also look at some of the other house-keeping issues you picked up on during your visit.
Thanks for your comments and we are glad that you enjoyed your visit to Inverness Leisure.
