“Value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

The hotel has the best location possible since almost all the Inverness locations are 5-minutes walk from the hotel. The station is also at a stone's throw away. From the airport, a cab will cost around 20 pounds since the ariport is at a distance away from the city. However, places like the castle, church etc are just across the road. River Ness flows right in front. The service was good. Good spread for breakfast and very friendly staff. Despite being vegetarians, we got varied options for breakfast. Would definitely stay here next time, we are here.

Room Tip: There are some rooms that overlook the river.

Stayed for two nights in a double room in June 2013.

This branch appears to be one of the newer ones. Excellent location, just moments away from some of the best bars and restaurants in Inverness; Tesco just round the corner. Not more than 5 minutes' walk into the city centre. We parked in the city centre Highland Council multi-storey car park (about 10 minutes away) for £4 a night!

The room was the usual Premier Inn standard; clean and comfortable. Only differences I noticed at this branch were: a) I thought the shower was better than usual; and, b) the hot water tap seemed to take a while to get to temperature.

Breakfast at the in-house 'Thyme' restaurant was very good; this had a buffet rather than table service. All the usual items cooked items, cereal, toast etc...

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this Premier Inn to anyone else spending a few nights in Inverness.

Room Tip: There are some rooms with a view over the River Ness; perhaps try contacting the branch to ask how t...

A three night City stay in Inverness, combining business with pleasure, and wanting to avoid the inevitable coach parties or rampaging Friday night teenagers night I chose the River Ness Premier Inn having spotted its enviable location on my last visit to the City. It was the perfect choice both in its relatively quiet location and its offer. From the friendly welcome through the excellent breakfasts and spotless accomodation I was delighted. The only moans I had were nothing to do with the hotel itself but were Premier expectations - squeezy soap and shampoo/body wash containers attached to the bathroom walls (I still take my own supplies with me) and the lack of a bath mat which ,with increasing numbers of older users staying at their inns, Premier really ought to have a look at. That said it was real pleasure to stay at this Inn and like Arnie " I'll be back..."

Stayed at this property for two nites in May and have nothing but praise from the very welcoming Reception Staff to the attentive wait staff for breakfast. There was not one thing reception would not do for us if we asked. Planning on returning in July.

Room Tip: please put toilet brushes in bathrooms.

I often use these hotels when away on business but this was a stopover with my wife and it was a real cut above the rest. The location was great and the staff excellent the breakfast better than normal and the bar was pretty good as well. Pleasantly surprised

Whilst we enjoyed our stay at this lovely location we thought that £105 for bed and breakfast was a bit on the expensive side compared to other similar hotels stayed at in Scotland. The room was lovely though with a great outlook over the river. The bathroom was spotless and a good size. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean. The breakfast was very good and worth trying. The staff were pleasant and attentive. Any downside? - well, we found the supply of only one hand towel unusual and also the toiletries and tea/coffee in the room were minimal. (I am sure if we had asked for more though they would have been supplied.) Would we return? - maybe.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the river.
