“Great B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

Spent a night here in early May. The location was excellent and easy to find. We were able to walk from here to explore Inverness and enjoy lovely pubs and restaurants close by. The room was clean and quiet with a king sized bed- very comfortable. Lovely breakfast and very accommodating for food choices. Russell was very helpful with directions and ideas for what to see and where to eat. Great stay.

Deciding to use the Bank Holiday Weekend as a good opportunity to visit Inverness, we chose to stay at the Torridon Guest House which was only a short walk from the train station. We were greeted with a warm welcome from Russel and his wife before being shown to Room 1; a beautiful ground floor room for 3 people which was very spacious and well-decorated. We were provided with a selection of beverages within the room including bottle of water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Russel was very happy to tell us some of the best places to visit and dine within the city which we were very grateful of not knowing the city too well! After a peaceful nights rest, we were presented with a delicious cooked breakfast in the morning with the choice of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt as an accompaniment! Would love to stay again for any future visits to Inverness as we loved the friendly service and comfort that given.

This B&B (guest house) has everything you'd wish for: very nice and friendly hosts, clean ensuite room, good beds, delicious breakfast (even veggie sausages for those who don't eat meat!), just a short walk away from the centre, free parking. Perfect!

This was a real joy to arrive at. Welcoming and informative host, clean and comfortable family room and ensuite with toiletries. Lovely Tallboy for clothes to hang in, bottled water as well as usual tea, biccies etc.
Beds were very comfy and house quiet. Breakfast was yummy with fresh blueberries, strawberries, creamy yogurts as well as usual food topped off with whisky marmalade for the toast! All in all would very readily recommend both our host and the B & B.

It was really nice place to stay and the owner was really helpful and friendly american guy. He was running it with his wife. You can get really good breakfast there and the owner likes to help you if you have any questions about where to go or what to do. Place was really clean and quit as well. Location was good as well about 10min walk to nightlife

We stayed here for one night while in Inverness for a family celebration. We stayed in the family room which was spotlessly clean and of adequate size for 3 adults staying for 1 night...any longer and we might have found it a bit tight for space, especially the wardrobe which I think had been pinched from Snow white's house as it was child size and didn't allow full length hanging...a minor problem though as it was just a 1 night stay. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, offering a selection of fresh fruit cereals and yogurt followed by a full Scottish cooked breakfast. Russell was very helpful with directions, a map was provided and recommendations for local eateries. All in all a pleasant stay, only negatives were the latest breakfast time was 9am, a tad early when you have been out celebrating the previous night and not being able to settle the bill by card...though we were told of this on arrival giving us time to get to a cash point. Oh and another plus point was the provision of shampoo, shower gel and a hairdryer which can sometimes be missing in a B&B.
