On arrival made to feel welcome, friendly lady, good location. Sadly the duration of our stay was very poor indeed.
Arriving as a family and being promised rooms next to each other was not to be the case. We were asked for cash up front and the 1st night youngest member of family having to sleep on the 1st floor in a very small room without en suite. 2nd evening being moved from our lovely double en suite to a twin bed due to the lady apparently over booking by mistake. Breakfast was shocking, one small table in the family lounge the marmalade was mouldy and the 'full' cooked breakfast consisted of 2 small bland sausages, 1 piece of bacon and 1 egg... certainly nothing of a Scottish theme. Would not recommend to anyone seeking a reflection of what they pay to stay here.
