Today 23/12/13 I met with old school friends for lunch. Our friend had to pay a deposit for this booking as apparently it would be very busy. When we arrived there was one other group in the restaurant so goodness knows why this had to be done. After the meal which to be fair was very tasty we were presented with the bill they hadn't removed the deposit from the balance! They also refused to refund the ten pound deposit for two people who weren't able to make it even though the restaurant was informed of this over a week ago. Then to our absolute disgust we received a phone call once we had left to tell us the staff had forgotten to give us a bottle of prosecco that our friends fiancé had kindly paid for and left for us to enjoy with lunch!!! The manager then had to barefaced cheek to ask if we could come and get it!!! Will not be returning to the heathmount anytime soon. So glad we decided that the £20 they kept was to be their tip!!!!
