As we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by the most helpful young lady who helped carry our bags to our room, she then sorted out all of the paperwork which made it easier as we have two young kids and needed to get them settled. It had been a long day and decided to order room service, once the food arrived it was hot and fresh and honestly couldn't fault a thing, it was amazing! The next day at breakfast they didn't have the self serve buffet out (which is what I was told they did for £7) instead it was a case of order then they collect it for you but you could only order once and not have more unlike the buffet if it was out, this didn't really bother us to be honest. When we arrived back at the hotel on the evening the room hadnt really been cleaned as such, all they did was drop off some towels and tuck the beds in that was it! The next evening we had food out so didn't have the room service. The evening after we ordered it again and expected some good food after such a good experience, but what we got was something completely different! One of the meals ordered was the rib eye steak complete with onion rings chips and mushrooms, the steak was not fresh it was like rubber and cold! The mushrooms look like they had come off breakfast and they only give you 3 onion rings! Another meal was a kids chicken and chips with beans, the beans looked the same as the mushrooms, as if they were from breakfast they were all dried up and that too was cold. The other meal which was the vegetarian special was also cold along with all of the deserts which were supposed to be served hot! After complaining about this we got told there's nothing that they can do and that we should be grateful they served us the restaurant menu to our room! Oh and we also ordered two pints of lemonade and got two small glases instead but charged for pints, which when told they brought up another glass of lemonade to account for the missing pints! I'm writing this review just after they refused to do anything about the food, I have had to ask them to take it all back and will be speaking to the manager in the morning, I have pictures of the food and its obvious that its not up to scratch at all.
Remember the parking is a small walk away from the hotel and you will struggle to park outside to unload without getting a ticket.
The mattresses are very uncomfortable and the pillows are very flat!
They don't have any baths only walk in showers that flood the whole bathroom.
