“A great place to stay.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2010

I have stayed here many times now and would recomend it highly. Moira is always welcoming. Rooms are spacious clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is spot on. Full fry up and cereals and fresh fruit.
I can't rate Fairfield villa highly enough.

We came to inverness to run the Loch Ness Marathon, and found this an excellent place to stay. The bed was new and very comfortable, rooms were spotless, (we had the use of the twin room next to ours as a family room at no extra charge. Lovely breakfasts each day, Moira even got up early to provide the runners with porridge on the morning of the marathon. The only slight downside of our room was being on the corner at the front it was a bit noisy at night. Only a short walk via the footbridge into town. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Travelled up to Inverness on 26th Feb with my husband & two infants for a short break.
We stayed at the Fairfield Villa as it was one of the only B&B's we could find that offered an interconnecting room.
We were greeted on arrival by a lovely couple who run the B&B and shown to our room. Very spacious interconnecting rooms with ensuite & on ground level which was ideal for the pram !
We were in a nice quiet residential area but only a ten minute walk down to the shops, bars, restuarants....shops were fab.
Breakfast was good & the owners were more than happy to cater for my fussy 3 year old.
Would definatly stay again

We (my wife, two-years-old daughter and myself) did stay at Moira's FAIRFIELD VILLA in Inverness for five days. Just upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed by Moira Mac Donald (the owner). All the house and our room was very clean and tidy. The room was cleaned every day and new clean towels were provided daily. In the room is tea and coffe making facility. We had a cot and a high chair for our baby. The breakfast was very tasty - English or Scottish breakfast, fresh fruit every day, yougurths, cearials, milk and so on.
Moira provided us detailed informations about local area, wah tto do, where and how to go and so on.
Twice we had to go very early for our trips so we missed the breakfast - instead, Moira provided us with packed lunch (sandwiches, mineral water, crisps etc.).

We highly recommend the Fairfield Villa !!! It is family friendly guest house. It is situated very close to the city centre, about ten minutes walk to the train and bus station.
