On a business trip I went into Nico's and sampled their 2 course early bird menu served from 5 - 6.30pm. I believe they do the same menu for lunch. I was met as I came in with my computer wheelie bag in tow. I was given a booth complete with a coat peg to hang up my winter coat.
The menu offered three starters and three mains. I had mussells to start and a pork steak with tomato, chips and leaf salad. I'd have been nearly as happy with the the other choices of soup, fish and chips and the vegatarian starter and main.
I asked about WiFi. This was free with a code supplied on request. The booth ment I didn't feel I was intruding on other customers when using my laptop.
The food was very good. The pork steak was not large but the mussel starter more than offset this.
On a windy wintry day the restaurant was comfortably warm.
The service was very good with everything being provided and attentive wihout being intrusive.
