“Week-end break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2014

We had 2 lovely rooms for my husband & i and the boys got there own room which was next door to ours, out the back of the guest house, very well equipped, comfy beds and no noise from the boys room which was brilliant!
Lovely breakfast in the morning.

Room Tip: The room at the back of the guest house were brilliant and would certainly book them again, no noise...

This was our first family holiday with our baby daughter so it was a daunting thought to be so far away from home. We need not have worried as we were greeted by wonderful staff/owners who were attentive without being overbearing.
We stayed in one if the spacious chalet rooms which was lovely.. The shower was wonderful after a day of walking/being on the mountain.
It is in a great location and we will definitely be going back. Highly recommended!

Stayed here for two days in half term for a skiing holiday, we had a lovely warm welcome and were shown to a lovely clean warm room with all the luxuries of a 5* hotel, even filter coffee,
Whilst having a chat we were recommended a great restaurant, it was booked for us and it did not disappoint, we had to leave early the first morning, so the owner made us some fantastic bacon rolls, luckily we had the full breakfast experience the following day, again it was excellent, quality and service. Fantastic, if we go back to Aviemore will certainly book to stay here

Jill and Jonathan have a fabulous place at Ravenscraig - extremely comfortable, great location, lots of local knowledge, wonderful breakfasts and piping hot water.

After arriving much later than anticipated due to traffic issues, Jill was a welcome friendly face, checking our party of 3 in quickly and allowing us to start enjoying our stay in Aviemore.

Lots of parking, cosy lounge and fast Wifi - a great base when visiting for short or long stays.

Was in Aviemore with family for a big birthday celebration in town. Booked two rooms. Friendly hosts; modern, comfortable en-suite bedrooms, superb breakfast; excellent porridge with nuts and fruit. Would be very happy to stay here again and can recommend it highly.

Me and my partner spent two nights at this fantastic b+b and can not wait to return!
We called in on spec while passing intending to stay one night but booked in for two as soon as we looked at our room it was a chalet style at the rear of the building with great decor and some nice personal touches and warm and cosy with a good tv and tea making facilities and wifi and a bathroom with a great shower ! Parking was safe and secure
At breakfast it was my partners birthday and the owner johnathon put a lit candle on her plate and all the staff sang happy birthday to her a really nice touch and believe me this is one of the best breakfasts I've had in any b+b porridge cerials toast jams and plenty of cooked choices inc a full monty of two eggs two bacon two sausage mushrooms beans tomatoe potatoe cake and fantastic local black pudding its big enough for even the biggest appitite!
The ravenscraig is ideally situated on the main road in avimore close to all the local amenities but still nice and peacefull
This b+b is simply outstanding and we carnt wait to return! From staff to quality of the room this place is top class well done to the owners for providing an unforgettable experience and my thanks for making my partners birthday one she will not forget

Stayed here for 3 nights with husband and infant daughter. Stayed in motel-type rooms in the back. Tons of space. Very comfy bed. Phenomenal shower. Breakfasts were incredible. Location was fine as central Aviemore is so walkable.
