“Yum Yum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

I have visited this restaurant regularly for years and it never disappoints. The service is quick and friendly, the food is fresh and tasty. It's an informal, reasonably priced place to grab a quick dinner but you are not rushed out the door.

“Excellent food, staff and service in a slightly basic setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

We've eaten here a few times now, and the food has always been excellent. The presentation and taste of your meal is great, as is the relaxed atmosphere of the place. The staff are very friendly, and the service is great. The ONLY reason I've not given this an excellent review is that the set up in the restaurant is more a cafeteria style, with tables and bench type seats. We don't mind this at all and it's comfortable enough. It's certainly not low standard by any stretch of the imagination as the place is well decorated and pristine, but the seating does remove a little of the atmosphere it could have otherwise.

Price wise it's average, with two starters, two main meals and a couple of glasses of wine coming in at around £38. Portions are generous.

I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for good food at a good price.

“Let's not get excited.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

Let's not get excited this place is OK, that's all. It's just the same as a Wagamama come Yo Sushi without the conveyor belt and with the canteen style layout. The food was grand, there's nothing particularly good about this place and nothing bad about it. It's just OK.

“Super Noodle Cafe for Night on the Town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

If your looking for a quick quality meal, with reasonably priced Japanese food you will enjoy this.
Friendly staff willing to assist with anything unfamiliar on the menu, good atmosphere.
Perhaps not the place to stay at the table for hours, but great to go before theatre/ cinema or after drinks.
Would recommend some of the Tea drinks, colourful and refreshing

“Excellent Food - Friendly Staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

We went here early evening after a few drinks before going to a gig. It was the ideal choice as the staff are very efficient and don`t hang around but neither do they rush you. We chose to have mains only as didn`t want to be too full. I went for the wok-fried option, yakisoba ichiban and my wife went for the chilli chicken yakisoba. As we were going out after we were so glad we never ordered starters as the portions are huge for a main. The girl beside me had a curry which looked like a small mountain! The chargrilled chicken which they make was out of this world tasty. The only negatives I would say is that it is way too bright which means there is no ambience, & makes for more of a dining hall feel. Also the waitress forgot my toothpick which meant I had to go up and ask again.
