We used the private dining room for a 21st birthday party and were very well looked after by Beth. The room was lovely, like an old Scottish farmhouse kitchen. The food is amazing, with great attention to detail and showcasing the best Scottish produce. Starters included haggis neeps and tatties, salmon and sweet potato fish cake. My main of chicken with black pudding bubble and squeak was to die for, and from the happy faces across the table, the rib eye steak and salmon risotto were also going down well. Lovely cheeseboard, blueberry crime brûlée and an enormous sticky toffee pudding to finish with. Wines are good and reasonably priced and Beth really looked after us well. For a special occasion you don't want to leave it to chance and I would definitely recommend the private room. We've eaten in the main restaurant several times and never been disappointed but this was really special. Thanks guys!
