We were recommended this place when we visited for New Years, we first went there on New Years Day evening, but it was closed. So the next day we went there for a quick lunch before we left Scotland.
When we first found it closed it looked like a little (wee) pub from the outside, upon the 2nd attempt we found there were much more to the pub outlook it had, there was an upstairs seating area, and the decoration upstairs was very different to the ground floor.
Food, the menu at lunch seemed a little limited, and unusual, at the end we went for the partridge breast and the pork belly baguette and a side of chips. All of them were very good. We knew that partridge was a small bird, but the portion was teeny tiny, slightly disappointing especially when it tasted so good. Pork belly baguette with mustard mayo was also great, even the other person who doesn't normally like mustard or mayonnaise liked it.
If I knew it was more of a restaurant I'd gone in the evening and not so much in a rush like we were..
Oh and parking near by too.
