I stayed for 2 nights in June 07 with my Mum and sister, we were made to feel extremely welcome and were very well looked after. The location of the B&B is fab, just a few minutes from the centre but overlooking the lovely Kelvingrove Park and University.
The Alamo is ideal for a tourist visit, the breakfast was lovely and suitable for a days sightseeing. The room was recently refurbished to a very high standard and the bathroom was lovely.
We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to friends.

I travel frequently in the UK and Europe and the Alamo is by far the nicest place--hotel, guest house or otherwise--I have ever stayed. My mother and I enjoyed two wonderful nights in this classy historical home, conveniently located near Kelvingrove and many other local attractions and excellent restaurants. The Alamo is clearly a labour of love for the friendly and accommodating proprietors who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until the time we reluctantly departed! Wonderful breakfast, modern bedrooms with all the comforts and then some, a friendly cat and the cutest baby ever to live await you at the Alamo. Steve, Emma, Leon and Flash: we may return to Glasgow just to stay with you again! Thanks for your hospitality and the best two days of our entire Scottish adventure!

My brother and I stayed at The Alamo last year! We had booked for The Moody Blues concert at the Clyde Auditorium! It is only by chance that I new about this review facility! Well let me say that we have booked again, (Meat Loaf concert) this weekend, and I am very much looking forward to staying at The Alamo again. The accommodation is excellent, proprietors charming, terrific breakfasts, and overall a very splendid experience!! Take my word for it!!

The Alamo is just lovely. Rooms well appointed. Comfy beds. Shared bath facilities very easy with 2 showers and 2 toilets available. Steve and Emma, hosts, delighful and so helpful. Delicious breakfast served with care. Fast taxi service at door and bus 1 block away. Great restaurants in area. Lots to see nearby. It will be our first choice in Glasgow.

Thank you for taking the time to write this glowing review. It was a pleasure meeting,(sorry, not allowed to name names), all three of you :o)
It is so nice when guests stay for a long period (8 days) and are so friendly with it. This makes our life and work here very fulfilling. Thankyou!!
We are so glad you liked your room, even though there were a few bits of furniture to change, which we’ve done now.
Hopefully see you again.

All the best.

All the Alamo staff and the BIG cat.

Dear John & Caroline

So glad you enjoyed your stay and I hope the rest of your trip around Scotland was enjoyable. Especially the whiskey distilleries you were looking forward to visiting, John!
Thankyou for taking the time to write this lovely review. I'm glad to say the room that you stayed in, Room10, was one of the last rooms to still have a mixure of the old furniture and the our Antique choice. A bit of a mix I know. We have now changed nearly every piece in this room, and it's looking so much more like where we are wanting to be. Hope to see you again on your next trip up. Best regards

Emma, Steve, Leon & Flash (the LARGE cat)
