Lovely apartment that met our expectatiosn having read other reviews. We arrived early and were able to check into out apartment early.

Everything in the apartment was as expected, great big bright rooms, furnished to a high standard, newspapers and eating out guides for Glasgow and very clean.

Only one negative - and it is only a suggestion - but given that we were four adults there was only slippers and dressing gowns for two. Not that big a deal - but if we had been staying a bit longer it would have been nice for everyone to have use of them. Also having stayed at other apartments that often have a welcome pack of provisions - this may also be a good idea as the UHT milk and packets don't really match the high standard of the apartments.

When we arrived at the lofts we were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff, who answered any questions we had, advised us of good spots to visit, where amenities were etc. There was always someone on the front desk who always made conversation with us and was always willing to help.

The appartment itself was very spacious and bright! Nice and modern! There were only two of us so didnt use the spare room, but did consider as it was right off of the lounge and a pull across door seperated it, noise from other parties or the tv may be an issue!! There were two seperate bathrooms one with just a shower the other with shower and jacuzzi bath (very nice!!) which were clean bright and airy! There's also a little cafe inside the building which wasn't overly priced and served nice coffee!

The view was off the city but did look a bit grey and dull in the drizzle, but didnt look so bad when the sun made an appearance! You get what it says basically; city view. So not bad but not overly attractive! Also no wandering around naked with the blinds up as floor to ceiling windows allows everyone to have a "view"!! Lol!

The city itself had lots of shops and we found a fantastic Thai called Thai Orchid in Argylle st which was lovely, put some sparkle into the evening! The Stand comedy club is a short subway journey away and a good cheap night out!! We went mon-wed nights and found limited nightlife but still some bars etc to have a drink in.

All in all it was a enjoyable stay and the appartments are fantastic, and accompanied by staff who care!

Wall to wall windows! Jacuzzi bath with Molton Brown ! Dressing gowns. Slippers. Crisp sheets. Friendly staff. BEST in Glasgow !!!! Best in EUROPE ? We will be back.

I must say these flats are very nice and ultra modern with a superb vista of the city, it is an ex office block and the top bit has been converted into apartments, However the cooker and oven need a clean, the oven didn't work,(only 1 lift was working) the concierge gave had to give me a key to use another flats oven and I had to carry our meals up the back stairs! But we could not sleep at all for the incredible Saturday night racket outside from 6pm to 6am, so we won't stay here over a weekend again.
