“An Oasis Close to Loch Lomond.”

This privately run hotel is ideally placed for touring in one of Scotland's most beautiful areas. It is also within a fifteen minute road journey for rail travel connecting to Glasgow and other cities in the UK.
My wife and I spent three nights together and I spent a further three nights in this very comfortable hotel and could not fault it in any way.
The owners and staff could not have been more helpful, any request I had was cheerfully carried out in a most efficient way.
The restaurant is really nice and the menu/food is first class, the
true Scottish breakfast is to die for.
We would certainly return to The Black Bull, Killearn, when we are in that area again, and can certainly recommend it to others.

Welcoming and Friendly staff, good food and ambience. Situated in one of the most beautiful areas i have ever been to. Only stayed one night, but will definately go again.

  • Liked — The interior bars and restaurant etc, plus where it is.
  • Disliked — The kettle in the room
  • Tips/Secrets: — Its a good place to use as a base to visit Glasgow or Edinburgh plus Stirling and Loch Lomond area.
