Stayed here four years ago, admittedly when it first opened, and it was a great hotel. But, alas, how things have changed.
1. Rude receptionist
2. Dirty carpets in bedroom
3. Dirty bed spread
4. No soap provided in bathroom plus grubby surfaces.
5. After confirmation room had been cleaned presented with a lovely unflushed tiolet upon our arrival into our room! Nice.
6. No TV remote control. No replacement offered upon request
7. No hot water for shower in the morning

Only good point clean sheets and towels.

I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Overpriced, noisy, smelly and unclean to start with.

Rude and pushy reception staff, some of whom barely spoke English.

The bed, which was meant to be a double, was two single beds crudely joined together. There was subsequently a very hard patch and a dip in the middle! Not a good night's sleep at all!

Whilst in the shower, the water temperature suddenly soared out of nowhere and virtually scalded me. When I complained about this at reception, they all but dismissed it, saying I must have brushed it by accident. I didn't!

I wouldn't stay there again if you paid me! Highly UNRECOMMENDED!

We stayed here 2years ago for a match.A lovely hotel staff were very nice, when we arrived early we could check in straight away. The rooms were great, two problems we had was we couldnt close the window right as it was late at night we didnt call anyone. Then at 3am we were woken to music from a room upstairs,so i rang reception and told them the problem straight away the music stopped so i got a good nights sleep.A great hotel a great location will be coming back here in the future.

First room had such loud music coming from the bar downstairs that we requested another room - even though we had to pack everything up again as I was told it would continue until midnight.
Got moved to the third floor where the central heating was discovered ('admitted' after an hour) to be broken on the entire floor. With it already being late on being told this, I requested a blanket but was presented with two grubby single quilts without covers. Should have moved because the bed was bust - springs and holes everywhere.
With sore backs we moved to room number three where we had to replace light bulbs from room number two (when we still had access to both rooms). Trying to identify which light switch belongs to which light (some were never found!) we managed to blow a switch, and some more light bulbs. Loads of fixtures missing/faulty. This room also smelled of smoke and had a little pile of cigarette ends on the windowsill. Stains on the bed covers. Toilet in one room smelled strongly of urine.
At 2 am we were woken by drunken singing coming from some late night smokers from the restuarant.
Poor tv reception. Didn't find any porn! Was advertised as having Wi-fi but alas it seemed to have been broken. (Surprise).
One of the receptionists was embarressed and apologetic and did offer us a free drink for the lack of wi-fi.
None of them knew what was going on at any time.

  • Liked — The bar downstairs is o.k but seemed to host very evident escorts.
  • Disliked — Noise; lack of internet

This is by far the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in and having grown up in a developing country, this is saying something.

The website gives absolutely no indication of how truly awful this hotel is.

My room was filthy, the curtains were stained black and the room smelled of curry (there is an Indian restaurant downstairs) and cigarette smoke, despite the fact that smoking is not allowed.
The room was not vacuumed for the whole duration of my 5-night stay.

There was no soap in the bathroom, just a dispenser containing some sort of shower gel/shampoo combination.

Breakfast was terrible. The staff were inattentive. I had to interrupt the waitresses' inane conversation to ask if they would be kind enough to get me a cup of coffee.

I won't go into detail about the freely available hard-core pornography on the television. I came upon this completely by chance while flicking through the channels. I shudder to think what might have happened if a family with children stayed here.

I will not go on. Stay here at your peril!
