I spent 5 nights at this hotel, using it as a base to do day trips out of Glasgow.
I arrived early in the morning from an overseas flight suffering from both jetlag and a cold. To my surprise I was immediately assigned a room and could have a rest before preparing myself for a day's sightseeing.
The room was large, very clean, and at the back of the hotel so it was very quiet. The bed was the most comfortable I ever slept on.
The location is absolutely the best in the city if you are using public transit; a short walking distance to Queen St. Train Station, Buchanan Bus Station, Buchanan Galleries (what a great Mall), and one block from the Tourist Office.
As a woman travelling alone I was of course concerned about safety. Premier Inns have a policy of ensuring safety of female travellers; for example, trying not to place them at the far end of a corridor.
This was my first trip to Glasgow, but if I ever go back I will certainly stay at this hotel and I am telling all my friends about it.
