Heard about this diner through a voucher that gave a steak meal and scallop starter for two for £21, which was apparently up to 54% off the meal.
The restaurant itself was very nice, it was small with about ten tables, but seemed like a great place to go out for a meal.
The service was great, but only due to the fact that only one girl was on the door, the bar, the floor and running food (maybe due to the fact it was a Sunday) but she was very nice even though she had a lot to deal with.
There was no Coke available to drink, only diet, which even the waitress had admitted "just isn't the same" which wasn't particularly great, and wasn't an issue until another couple had sat beside us to order off the menu and were told certain items they wanted weren't available either. Again, this may have been due to it being a Sunday.
The starter was pleasant but if I had paid full price, I would not have been happy with the size.
For the main, we had ordered the steak medium-rare and it had been brought to us medium-well, although it was still a nice steak. The steak sauce was an extra, in quite a small jug for £2. The chips were very standard.
Everything was brought out very quickly, the bill had come with a bit of tablet which was nice.
Overall the restaurant had potential, but they just need to work out their stock issue and refining the food.
Value was good due to the voucher, but I would not have been happy paying full price.
