“Does what you would expect”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Reliable Weatherspoons venue. Quick pub grub at a very good price. Where else can you get 2 burgers & chips plus 2 pints of lager for £12??
You know what you get with this chain and it does what it says on the tin. No complaints here.

“Fair to Middling!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2014

This place is ok if you are after bog standard grub and service. The food is well enough cooked but the waitresses really should learn to smile even if it is before 10am. My only real gripe is the time taken between serving tea and getting the food. The only option was to collect the tea myself after the food has been served. Come on 'Lord of the Isles' surely you can crack this one.

“Quick cheap and easy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

Like the rest of the chain the menu is pretty standard with what I think a pretty large selection of items.

Food is fairly priced and normally pretty quick out the kitchen but is a little slower in very busy periods.

This branch is ideal if going to the ice hockey or staying in the hotel (travel lodge I think) across the road.

Only downside is the whole pub has a glass side meaning it gets extreams of hot and cold during summer and winter but does have outdoor seating (smoking and non smoking)

Always friendly service, pleasant surroundings and ideal for the snow slope. Best value place to eat and drink in XScape.
