“Unwelcoming Service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

You would assume that you would get a warm welcome here considering the restaurant is the new kid on the block. When we arrived, both waiters performed their tasks in a perfunctory manner. No friendly smile was on offer. The restaurant was very busy and the service was efficient, if lacking on the warmth factor. My calamari bruschetta was a real winner but the beef main was tough and dry. Although busy at the moment, this place will need to improve the quality of the food and the warmth of the welcome if it wants to survive.

“Great value.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

Great value pre theatre menu. Food was hot and delived efficiently to our party.
A complimentary glass with our meal included in the pre theatre price. Wine list not too expensive....Villa Maria NZ Sav Blanc £16......Situated in the city and easy to find just a few mins walk from the train station. Small place, nice atmosphere a bit draughty if you are near the door.....full by 6pm....so book if you want to try.
