This was a wonderful start to our Scottish trip. We had delicious traditional Scottish fair of posh Haggis served in a modern way and sampled the traditonal Scottish desserts: clouttie dumplings and another whose names escapes me - absolutely delicious. The service was excellent - not surly and arrogant that yu get used to in London! This is a lovely understated decent Cafe restaurant with a lovely view of the grounds. We were lucky that it was not particulary busy that day, mid week in March. I will definitely return when next up in Glasgie; and the prices are reasonable compared to the overinflated South!
