We took what could have been a horrible rainy and dull day into a fun packed fact visit.
Myself and two 7 year olds took the journey to Glasgow's Science Centre and we weren't disappointed.
Well signposted from the M8 so no detours required. Parking was £3, for which you use a token 'ATM' to get your exit coin. £3 is a day rate, so stay as long as you want.
Entrance costs were reasonable - £25 for us. There were a few places you can leave your coats, which was a great idea seeing as it was pouring when we arrived.
Three floors of touchy feely things - not normal practice in museums and very welcome. From technology, your body how things work and how they break (De-construct it). How electricity, wind, water, humans make things work. See how fast, strong, big you can be.
I learned a few things and wonder why it took so long for us to visit it.
The cafe was reasonably priced (£4 for a hot dog and chip). The gift shop also had pocket money gifts available - a pleasant surprise for us all.
Somewhere to visit again for definite. An excellent experience.
