From Start to finish I had a fantastic time. The fact that the hotel is situated next to the train Station saved money on Taxis etc. Check in was quick and efficient and the recepion staff were more than happy to help recommend bars etc. Rooms were spotless and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. The bar was always busy but run very efficiently and although there was lots of football fans there was never any trouble.
I would recommend it to anyone who is travelling for business or pleasure.
Stayed in Jury's Inn in Glasgow last weekend. Great location as it is just around the corner from the train station which takes you directly to Preswick airport. Also good location for shopping, restaurants and cultural activities. We visited the renowned Willow Tearooms in Sauchiehall St, a must for Mackintosh fans.
Our room at Jurys was clean, comfortable, spacious and we had a great view over the Clyde from the 11th floor.
The staff were very helpful and they were genuinely interested in how much we were enjoying our stay in Scotland.
Each morning, there was a good choice of food for breakfast and porridge was available on request. We ate from the bar menu on saturday and also used the tray service on the evening we arrived. This service allows you to order from an extensive menu and once ready you collect it yourself at no extra charge. What a great idea and I wish other hotels would adopt this service as I have often been charged up to £9 for room service.
Late checkout is available on a sunday for an extra £20 which is ideal if you have a late flight.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jury's Inn in Glasgow and will return to this hotel when we are next in Glasgow.
I stayed in this hotel last year for 3 days.It was the best part of my Scotland Trip.I was travelling alone and hence was quiet apprehensive about putting up in a hotel alone but after staying here I felt I made a right decision. The service was amazing.Rooms were very clean. The staff was very co-operative.Place was very safe. The view form the hotel is amazing. The location of the hotel is an added advantage. The train station is right away
The market place and bus stops are just a walk away. The food in the hotel is good also it has a number of food outlets nearby.
And the best part is that it suited the budget also so well. The rooms were pretty economical as per the services provided.
Overall I would say one of the best hotels to put up in when in Scotland.Any time I vist Scotland again I will definitely put up here.
I arrived on site Last Thursday 11th Jan initially purely for business but seeing as it was on the verge of the weekend we decided to stay for Friday night as well to experience the local hospiality. The trip started off well with a warm welcome at the hotel reception. The Rooms were an adequate size very clean an comfortable. On the morning of the 12th we sampled the hotel breakfast, a generious spread of cuisine with a congenial atmosphere. Overall economically priced in a good location, a great balance.
