Firstly, the location is excellent and the room was very, very quiet despite it being very busy.
I booked by phone and the booking clerk was excellent - very friendly and efficient, and when i arrived it was more of the same from the receptionists. I requested an iron when i checked in and had barely got in the room before it arrived. All staff were clearly well trained and some of the most pleasant I've come across.
The room itself was standard 3* fare but the towels were ridiculously small and cheap. Good air-con and nice, comfy bed and ample room.
Bar was lively but very efficient and reasonably priced.
Lovely quiet night's sleep followed by an absolutely terrible breakfast. Although I was one of the first in there the food was entirely cold, the eggs had clearly been on the hotplate for a very long time and when i asked for a fresh one was told I had to take the ones already there. The reply sounded well rehearsed! We all know that hotels must struggle when the hoardes descend for breakfast at the same time but there were barely 5 of us in there!
I had a bit of cereal and left it there...I do like my cooked breakfasts and felt ripped off by the offerings.
Overall, a pleasant experience until that ...I wouldn't stay at a jury's again until they sort the food out which is a shame as everything else was fine.
