Jurys Inn, Glasgow, was described as 'luxurious budget accomodation' and, as such, I got exactly what I paid for.
Our room was not the largest that I have ever stayed in and the bed was a bit too hard for my liking, but there was everything you needed (t.v, hospitality tray, soap, shampoo, towels, extra blankets and pillows and air con.) - so one can not complain at the £69.00 per night room rate that we were charged ... especially as the room could take 3 adults in one single and one double bed. The downside, for me, was that our room overlooked central station and we could both see and hear every train that came in and out of the station. Not my idea of fun at five in the morning but, hey, this could be a train-spotters heaven!!.
The hotel is in the most fantastic location (train station not included) as all the shops, pubs, resteraunts etc. are right on your doorstep. The Enoch Shopping Center is just 2 mins round corner, as is Argyle Street, Princess Shopping Arcade etc. etc.
If traveing by car, there is a multi-storey car park accross the road. This usually costs £10 for 24 hours but is reduced to £6 for hotel guests.
We did not eat in the hotel at all. They charge £10 (£8 if pre-booked) for a breakfast - but we went 4-doors-up to the Crystal Palace and got a great full Scottish breakfast for £3.59.
All-in-all, a good central budget hotel.
