My partner and I stayed at the Jury's Inn Glasgow for 10 days (he stayed more for work) over the New Year. We had read some great reviews online and I must say, it lived up to all of them.

The staff, first and foremost, were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and professional. I wish I could remember more names, but Jason was particularly nice, but honestly, they were all top notch. We had breakfast included in our stay and it was consistently good. We ate at the bar one night, and while the food was decent, it was a little over priced. The room was clean, big, and had a wonderful view. They were very apologetic for some construction going on down the road, but we didn't even hear it. It was a great location because you were only a few minutes away from the train station, subway station, George's Square, Buchanan Street, and loads more. I really considered it a great deal for the money.

Thanks to Peter Stack for making our stay so enjoyable! We hope to return!

We Stayed in this hotel on new years eve to attend george sq and also my birthday
First impressions where good but them at the time we where checking in we waited for a good 20 mins as there was a few people checking in at the same time.
The rooms are nice and big also well furnished.
We had a few problems with our room firstly it took over half an hour to get any heat in the room and also our tv didn't work.
After reporting this it was over an hour to get a replacement by this time we where getting ready to go out.
The hotel is in a good position of town.
We didnt get any breakfast the next morning but where not told this at the time of booking.
We then found it difficult to get a bite to eat as it was new year morning so ended up going home starving.
ok hotel but watch what you get in the price.

Nice clean room. I booked a double( 2 beds) and got a big double bed, and a single. Perfect! TV, hair dryer, nice clean shower/toilet.

I'd recommend this hotel to anyone, very central, just down from the main shopping area's. Loads of pubs, resurants near by, BUT. . .

DONT get the breakfast. This was not included with my stay, but I decided to try it (costs 10.50 sterling). The black puddin was over cooked, as I over heard that morning to quote "you could need an axe to cut the pudding"! And I'd agree. There were four of us, traveling and all four agreed, the standard of the breakfast was bad.

We stored out bags, with the hotel for the cause our flight was late. It took, from the time we asked to get them, to getting them 15 mins. So Dont be in a rush.

The late bar(1am on), I was there with a friend. Irish music was being played. If anyone that more than sang, or clapped, we were told to be quite. So if your into your music, try else where (unless you like being told to be quite).

Apart from those little quirks, its a nice, clean, central hotel. And yes, I would go back, but Im a little wiser.

found the hotel to be excellent, staff at check inn were really friendly and helpful(sorry dont know names so will have to miss out on your bonus)

room was spotless and a good size aswell. bar area was nice and again staff really friendly dont think anything would of been a hassle for them.

one complaint, £4.50 for a magners thought that was a bit steep but that could just be cos im an aberdonian and tight with my money(or so they say)

overall an excellent stay ideal for city centre, secc and the carling academy will definetly return. thank you.

Excellent service from duty manager Gary and his colleagues all week-end. We took an early flight and arrived at the hotel around 8.30am. So I was especially pleased to be able to check into our room straight-away and get freshened up. Gary took a genuine interest in our visit (we were visiting my mother-in-law and throwing a surprise party for her 80th birthday), and was keen to provide any advice needed to ensure we enjoyed our stay in Glasgow.
We had three rooms including room 1007 which I think is probably the best in the hotel. Fantastic views from the windows and with the lights on the bridges across the Kelvin in the evenings, it was quite enchanting.
There was plenty of choice at breakfast and several in the party sampled the scotch pancakes, which were very yummy.
