I would highly recommend this hotel for a short break in Glasgow. I stayed in this hotel in April 08 on a hen weekend and found it very comfortable in every way. It's location is brilliant - not even a 5 minute walk to the shops! Rooms were decorated lovely and very clean. Food was excellent and staff were friendly. Couldn't really fault this hotel on anything and will surely stay here again in the future.

I was recommended the hotel by friends and it was exactly how they described it. the service from the minute you walk in to the time you leave is great. We didn't have dinner but my friends reccommended it, but we did have breakfast and the service was excellent. The bar was relaxing and the bar menu was good for an afternoon bite. I will definatley return to the hotel and will recomended to all my friends and work colleagues. A definate must stay in glasgow.

Room was clean and comfortable - very comfy bed. Really enjoyed meal with friendly attentive staff who were keen to build their reputation. Superb food - best steak ever!! Later on enjoyed cocktail made by enthusiastic bar staff.

Excellent value for money. Will stay again when we are back in Glasgow.

Got an outstanding [to good to be true] deal for this hotel on a famous hotel web site.A suite,breakfast,bottle of champagne all for £89.00 a night [suite normally £189.00 w/out breakfast]However the very friendly girl at reception informed us that it was an old valentines offer which the web company should no longer be advertising but the staff here are class and they gave us everything requested at the £89 price.
The hotel is very pleasant and central.The split level room was great with a 20 inch plasma with freeview channels in both the bedroom and the downstairs living area,very comfy bed,great views across Glasgow [see mobile phone pics]and fairly quiet through the night a little noise from the street on the Saturday but nothing serious.Reception area/lobby nice and modern,friendly bar.
Had a meal in the hotel which was a little disappointing [side orders arrived late for main courses and coffee served b4 sweet] would have been great had the timing issues been fixed but this is where this hotels class came through again when Andy the Restuarant Manager asked if we enjoyed the meal and we expressed our very mild disappointment he,very generously,gave us the meal and wine free of charge [wish all hotels employed staff like this] On checking out we left our luggage @ hotel for a days shopping and picked them up later to stroll the 5 mins to Queens Street rail station.Overall very satisfied with Hotel/stay
