I agree with the previous reviewer - the Executive Rooms are very, very small. The bathrooms also are tiny.
The hotel is a very simple medium class hotel that has been given a fancy name but has neither the facilities nor the staff to live up to the ridiculous prices they charge.
I was fed up with the place and had breakfast across the road at Lang's (much nicer, bigger rooms, pleasant staff and the same price)
Staff are a big problem. Hostile receptionist ("No" was a stock answer to any request) No smiles, no "have a nice day" and not even a thank you when I paid the bill. Lucky she didn't ask if I had enjoyed my stay or I would have told her!
Another reviewer mentioned the problem with mini bar keys. That comment was made some months ago but the hotel still does not have keys! I had to ask three times for a key until I finally got one. What is their problem - don't they want to sell over-priced drinks?
The hotel is clearly living well on its brand name and the flow of customers this brings. It is a good example of a franchise gone wrong.
The physical problems of the hotel are one thing but even a half-decent management could improve matters a great deal by proper staff training in basic courtesy.
