We stayed for 4 nights, booking made through a consolidator at £55 a night so pretty cheap. The room itself was fairly functional, with a decent bathroom, kitchen in a little annexe so it didn;t feel like part of the room.
Good things: location is great, cost very good compared to hotels. Having the ability to cook (albeit only 2 electric rings) meant much less dependence on eating out every night. Not too much noise from the street as we didn't face out. But...
Bad things: The view! Our room (202) looked out at a multi-storey carpark and air conditioning fans, so a constant background buzz. There was a constant draft through the window, which we blocked using the decorative bed runner.
We didn't bother with the £5 continental breakfast - why, when you've got your own toaster and kettle? Cafe Gandolfi also very highly recommended and just over the road.
