“Great food in a relaxed West End atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014

Really good Mexican food with a great selection of beers on offer. Efficient friendly service. Can recommed the pulled pork, but must revisit to try the house speciality - slow cooked venison & chorozo chili (takes most of the day to cook and unfortunatley wasn't ready at the time we were ready to eat). Will definitely return.

“closest-to-the-real-thing Mexican inspired food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2014

We went one weekday afternoon for dinner as we were just passing by and we happened to identify the aroma of cochinita pibil coming from the place, so we went in. It had a good vibe to it and there seemed to be a good selection of beer and cider. The menu is nice and compact. There was a vegan option and some vegetarian too. The pictures on this page don't match the menu, so maybe they're old ones. The current food is very good whether you're Mexican or not (I am) and the portions are spot on. Very good price too. No problem at all with the service, our server was attentive and unobtrusive.
It is nearly impossible to find Mexican food in Scotland, so I am very glad I have found this place for when I crave a taste of home.
Well impressed!

“Nice little bar/restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014

Lots of energy and a great beer/cider menu. We ordered two appetizers that were delicious. We liked their take on Spanish/Mexican food, and the service was very good. We were the oldest patrons there, but felt welcome and at home!

By far my favourite place in Glasgow! Great food - you can tell how fresh it is! Relaxing atmosphere where the staff are inviting and friendly. Well priced and an awesome booze selection. Definitely would recommend!
