Bar caffetterie inside a Glasgow shopping centre .
We stopped there as I needed some hot drink.
It looks like a pretty French/Italian/continental cafè bar.Inside there is also a shop area where you can buy delicatessen items and some italian brand stuff like tomato sauce and some other brands.
Of course the price is expensive for all these items on sale.
The disappointment was :
as ordering the £2,25 espresso and the £ 2,05 tea,
we spot a tray of bisquits coupled with some cream in the middle. but they were bisquits.
They looked nice and decided to get them.
Now , I don’t want to make a big fuss on the price, but we were charged for the 2 bisquits £2,25 each and the voice on the recipt said clearly that the bisquits were considered “cake” .
There were only few people there and we waited more than 15 mins for coffee ,tea and 2 bisquits.
Espresso was not good, bisquits were just… bisquits! With some cream in it.
And on my opinion a total of £8,55 for coffee , tea and 2 bisquits is too much considering that it’s a bar in a shopping centre next to the elevator and not a sophisticated place in a pretty street.
I know I had to look at all the prices before ordering. Infact that was a mistake I will never make again.
