Euro Hostel has a great location - just a little bit down the street from the Central Station and easy to find. We could walk everywhere we needed to go (Buchanan, SECC and the station) with plenty of stores around for those who like to shop.
The staff we met was professional and attentive and the amenities were just as described. We had chosen a private twin for our stay and that's what we got. The room was pleasant and decently clean if somewhat worn in places. From the top bunk, I had a great view of the quite dusty and rusty top of the lockers, which wasn't so nice. The bathroom was acceptable - the floor looked horrible in the corners but was otherwise OK. The sheets had old stains but were clean and the beds were comfortable.
On the bright side, the common areas was quite nice and the free breakfast invited to eat plenty. The security was also great - you had to have a key card to even get into the parts of the hostel not open to the general public. It was also easy to get the luggage to the room, which was appreciated as we had quite a lot.
All in all, I wouldn't say it's inviting, but it's great for shorter stays and for those looking to keep a budget. I would return for a shorter stay.
