i stayed at 4bed female dorm for 2nights.
the room was small but no problem! toilet and shower were separate but they were in each dorms!, there was locker too. this hostel is big building, so easy to find! and there was lift, so it was easy to move with big backpack.

Breakfast was great(continental breakfast)! the room for breakfast was really large with big windows.
just about shower, it was alittle bit difficult to control. but i could have hot water, so no problem.

Desk staff as indifferent at best; certainly not welcoming or friendly. The room was simple as expected. I dropped a small bottle; it rolled under the bed and I was shocked at the filth. Not only dust bunnies, which were thick, but garbage! Looking at the room closer it reminded me how how a roommate or a kid would clean. Clean on the suface and at first glance. Juice or soda sprayed on the wall spots of black and brown stuff on the bathroom wall and more. We will not stay here on our next visit.

I was obviously very concerned to read your comments regarding the standard of housekeeing within your room. Please accept my sincere apology for this.

This is not the normal standard associated with Euro Hostel as you can see from previous Trip Advisor reviews. I have discussed your comments with our Head Housekeeper and measures have been put in place to prevent future guests experiencing the same shortcomings as yourself.

I would like to offer you a reduced rate if you return to Glasgow in the future where we can demonstrate that this was an isolated incident and not the normal for Euro Hostel.

The Euro Hostel is nothing special but it was what we needed. A small clean room with a reasonably comfortable bed and a bathroom that worked. Apart from the silly birds outside the window is was quiet while we slept. Breakfast was simple but good, in a nice environment.

My daughter had stayed here for a week before school started. She found it on the internet before she went over to Glasgow for school. When my husband and I decide to come visit she said it was clean and safe and a really good price. And it was that but I would rather stay at a Bed and Breakfast next time.

It was good to read that your daughter recommended Euro Hostel to you. It was not so good to read that you would prefer a B&B next time.

As an accommodation provider we try to offer our product to everyone, this doesn't mean that our product is for everyone but it was good that you found us clean, safe and reasonably priced.

I cannot tell from your comments what room type you had booked but I would like to advise readers of Trip Advisor that we offer all types of rooms from doubles/twins to 4/8 person and 14 person rooms.

Great Hostel, good security, clean bathrooms and bedrooms, breakfast not bad. The bar downstairs is fun at happy hour,one tip, there is a guy who is a local that drinks in the bar and picks up travellers, he is ALWAYS there, called tom, anyway, a few mates of mine stayed at the euro and were telling me about him, whom I already knew, quite funny now that 3 different people I know have all given him a random kiss on different occassions because he always sits down there waiting for his next victom. But overall, a very good hostel.

Your comments regarding "Tom" in our Osmosis Bar made us all laugh and we debated for a long time to try and establish who this guy is. I think "Tom" is obviously his stage name.
