Stayed at this hotel for two nights. Arriving at 1330 hours we didn't get a friendly reception and were told that we couldn't get into our room until 1500 hours and the receptionist did not even look to see if there was a room available. When we got into the room the bedspread looked like it coul have walked to the washing machine and you could smell it before you even went near it. The floorboards creaked throughout the whole room, not all the lights worked, the walls were paper thin to the extent that you could hear other guests using the toilet, non stop noisy traffic carried on day and throughout the whole night, the windows were single glazed and were draughty and didn't keep out the noise, when we opened the window a bit of the frame fell off. The mattress was worn and very uncomfortable. The car park is situated off the lane at the rear with very few spaces most of which were taken up by tradesmen staying at the hotel, it is at least a twenty minute walk to the town centre or west end and not the best part of Glasgow to be walking about in at night. The stairs to the reception resemble a prison. The dining room is "work in progress" with dust flying about everywere whilst it is being redecorated. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE, should be a two star at the most and costing half the money, felt totally ripped off.
